Review - Workshop "Political Stability as a Global Normative Concept"

The workshop “Political Stability as a Global Normative Concept,” held on July 23-24, 2026, at TU Dortmund, has come to a successful close. In a warm and engaged atmosphere, colleagues from Fudan University and UA Ruhr discussed a broad spectrum of themes connected to political stability – from solidarity, migration, and transportation to the significance of family, learning processes, experimentation, and friendship. The discussions also touched on the varying temporalities of social and political developments and the importance of considering different historical and sociopolitical perspectives. The workshop concluded with a visit to the ‘Zeche Zollern.’
